Meet & Greet

A meet and greet is the first step when booking any dog walking services. Most importantly, it is a chance to make sure the dog walker is the right fit for you & your beloved furry friends.

It allows the me to assess the dog’s personality and behaviour, confirms the right fit, and allows you as the owner to discuss routines, health needs, and emergency procedures before booking. 

This service is FREE and will last around 30 - 60 minutes where we will also complete necessary paperwork, you can view my Qualifications & DBS Check!

Key Aspects of a Meet and Greet:

• Purpose: To build trust, ensure your pet is comfortable with me, and establish clear, safe, and mutually agreed-upon expectations.

• Safety & Logistics: The meeting often happens at the your home or a nearby park to evaluate how your dog behaves on a walk and in its own environment.

• Discussion Topics:

  • Behavioral Needs: Triggers (loud noises, bicycles), reaction to other dogs/cats, and special quirks.

  • Routine: Feeding times, medication, and specific walking instructions.

  • Home Access: Handing over keys, discussing door codes, or location of leads, collars, harnesses etc.

• No Obligation: The meet and greet is 100% obligation-free! If either of us feels it's not a great match, we can simply part ways—we always put your pet's well-being first here at Wagging Walks!
